Food, Seating, And Getting To The Ceremony From The Strip

For those interested, our reception will feature a buffet-style Italian dinner.  There will be trays of various types of pastas, along with salads, breads, and maybe even some pizzas to choose from.

Also, the seating will not be assigned, so you'll be free to roam around and make new friends over the course of the evening. There will be people coming from New York, California, Oregon, Michigan, Florida, as well as plenty from right here in the Las Vegas area.

And to help out those folks who will be staying on The Strip, the best way to get to the ceremony at Desert Willow Golf Course at 2020 West Horizon Ridge Parkway in Henderson, NV, 89012, is to take either Las Vegas Blvd South, or I-15 South, down to the 215 East. Follow that along for just a few minutes until you come to the Green Valley Parkway exit (you'll see Green Valley Ranch Station Casino on your right), and get out heading South, which will be to your right. Just stay on that for a couple minutes until you come to Horizon Ridge Parkway, where you want to turn left. Now that you're on Horizon Ridge Parkway, turn left at the first traffic light you come to (which you'll come upon very quickly), for that is the entrance to the golf course clubhouse parking lot.

Locations Of The Ceremony & The Reception

Our wedding ceremony will be taking place at the clubhouse of the Desert Willow Golf Course at Sun City McDonald Ranch, located at 2020 West Horizon Ridge Parkway in Henderson, Nevada. It is on the NorthEast corner of Horizon Ridge Parkway and Green Valley Parkway, just over 1 mile South of the 215 Highway. The ceremony is to begin at 7PM on Saturday, May 19, 2012. There are 2 entrances to the grounds, both of which are on Horizon Ridge Parkway, and pictured below:

The reception will be immediately following at the National Association Of Letter Carriers Union Hall, located at 2620 East Sunset Road in Las Vegas, Nevada. It is on the NorthEast corner of Sunset Road and Eastern Avenue, just East of McCarran Airport, and just North of Sunset Park. The front of the Union Hall is pictured below:

It is a 15 minute drive from the ceremony at the Golf Course to the reception at the Union Hall. Simply travel North on Green Valley Parkway until you reach Sunset Road, then turn left. Travel along Sunset Road, then turn right at McLeod Drive, which is the first traffic light you encounter after crossing Pecos Road. The first left you can make off of McLeod Drive will take you to the parking lot of the shopping plaza that contains the Union Hall. This link will provide you with directions on Google Maps.
